Which area of Saigon has the most award-winning restaurants?
The Sài Gòn ward — the District 1 core around Đồng Khởi, the Opera House and the river — holds 24 of the 50, nearly half. Bến Thành is second with 14.
Where should I stay to be near the most of them?
Anywhere between Đồng Khởi and Bến Thành Market puts 38 of the 50 within a 20-minute walk or a sub-40,000₫ Grab ride. That is also the most expensive part of the city to sleep in.
Are there good winners outside District 1?
Seven: two in Chợ Quán on the road to Chợ Lớn, three across the river in Bình Thạnh and Thủ Đức, and two in Tân Định. The Chợ Quán pair are the clearest local-favourite entries on the whole list.
